Just as the title says, let's see the best cars without a gaping front end. A little ventilation is fine, but there's no need to cause a draft.

Game over

I always had a thing for these! (only the wagon though)

I actually quite like grille-less cars. I nominate my very own 1988 Mazda 323 GTX.

"itschrome" beat me to it, but this deserves multiple spots. 32-valve 4.0l v-8? I don't mind the FWD.

I always liked the look of the Monte Carlo's grille.
Studebaker Avanti as well.
Also, the MX-6 is applicable.

I completely forgot about the MX-6 not having a grille.

Just a couple:

These had some of the best tail lights, too.

Okay, everyone else stop posting. This is the only answer set necessary.

The sedan is pretty nice, too. However, the wagon is still the best.

Lets get some 2nd gen up in this party too!

Loves me a first-gen Q45, either with or without grille.

Fun fact, my parents used to drive me to school in one a decade ago. (manual transmission and all). They got rid of it in '02, and to this date I have never seen another 1st gen in the wild
![]() 11/20/2014 at 18:02 |

I'm guessing mx6? I'm picking a 1st gen up soon.

Thank you EVERYONE now I don't have anything to post.

Zeroth generation, anyone?
![]() 11/20/2014 at 18:13 |

Okay, so I'm kind of cheating with the Triumph, but even so, I've always thought that it looked 'grille-less' with the way that the grille is just that chrome strip above the bumper. They just look so deliciously weird, and I have owned or regularly driven all four.

All these fine answers, but a distinct lack of Taurus.

Obviously :)

also, my dad had a 2nd gen (LS) which he sold to a friend in 2004, who later sold to someone else. I'm tempted to run the VIN to see if it shows up anywhere.

Tada! I took this shot in September, and the car is still there.

Woot! get the honeycomb wheels though, IMO those ones on there aren't the greatest
![]() 11/20/2014 at 19:39 |

they're hubcaps. Winter tires on the back, all seasons up front.
